This was a fun project and hope I can find another limb to burn like this. I am not sure of the type of wood but it burns beautifully . Part of the fun of locally sourcing wood is actually going out on your own and finding a gem here in our mountains.

Each one of these is hand drawn, then burned and some will be painted. Each one is right around 2 ½ inches to 3 inches long. The chains are all stainless steel and the gold is plated on stainless. There is a coating of poly acrylic on the painted ones and the unpainted are coated with a mineral oil/beeswax mix we make here at Cranberry Acre.
